Large, heavy Blue Forest Petrified Wood Root Ball Slab! 6 + lbs! Face measures about 3 1/2 inches in diameter. Specimen stands 4 inches tall. A really interesting piece with what appears to be at least 3 additional small branches visible on the polished face. Excellent ring definition as well as contrast in colors. Exterior shows both areas of botryoidal bubbles as well as layers of chalcedony. This is a truly unique specimen in both detail as well as size. The bottom is rough and uncut – piece stands nicely angled on flat surface.
